I initially studied theatre at Missouris State University and earned a BFA in Theatre Performance and Lighting Design. I had taken a photography class in those days as well as other visual arts classes, however it was after moving to Los Angeles in 2000 that I rediscovered my interest in design and photography. I worked independently for a time and later decided to attend formal photo classes at Santa Monica College.

Having worked as an actor in various mediums, I understand first-hand the need for great headshots as well as the actor's method (THE Method or others as well :-) which helps me guide and direct a session to the actor's advantage. As an experienced headshot photographer and image editor, I also understand the changing expectations of the market and am highly skilled with digital imagery. I combine these talents to get you great results!
